Browns Perfect Season Parade: Stephen Colbert Joins the Fun
The Late Show host said he's rooting for the Browns to lose the rest of their games.

With news that the city of Cleveland is letting plans for a "Perfect Season 0-16" parade move forward, and the increasingly real possibility that the Browns will fail to win a single game this season, national media is starting to take notice of Cleveland's antics.
On the Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, the host spent a solid minute and a half digging into the planned parade and saying he's drawing inspiration from the football team's plight. He also noted that Cleveland football fans have been especially beleaguered this year, quipping "If you don't like football, you might be a Cleveland Browns fans."
Colbert then added that with the team sitting at 0-12, "Technically, I am as a good of a football team as the Cleveland Browns. We have the same record."

The Browns have games against the Cincinnati Bengals (4-7), Buffalo Bills (6-6), San Diego Chargers (5-7), and Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5) remaining. All of the opponents appear, at least on paper, to be superior to the Brownies. So hopes for a late season win are slim.
"When life gives you lemons, those lemons probably play football better than the Cleveland Browns," Colbert joked.

Should the team stay winless and the city continue to allow the parade to move forward, organizer Chris McNeil says the event would be held Jan. 7.
McNeil added that his meeting with the city this week went "very well."
"A ton of work left though," he said. "I still have to get sponsors to make this work."
