The University Heights man is being treated for his injuries at a hospital in Akron, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

AKRON, OH — A naked University Heights man was hit by a car after running from Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on Monday morning. The man is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries, the OSHP said.
Callers reported a wrong-way driver going south on I-77 at about 4:50 a.m. on Monday. Troopers rushed to the scene and located the car described by witnesses, a 2013 silver Kia Optima. The vehicle was being driven by Jovon Dawson, 23, of University Heights.
Troopers tried to stop the car, but Dawnson fled, the Highway Patrol said in a news release. Stop Sticks were deployed by the Stow Police Department and Dawson's Kia was halted on State Route 8.

However, once the Optima was stopped, Dawson allegedly jumped out of his car ran into the woods. He then tried to cross Sullivan Road, according to Fox 8, before running, nude, down the northbound lanes of State Route 8.
While attempting to cross the highway, on foot, he ran into the side of a 2008 Honda Odyssey. The driver of the minivan was not hurt in the collision.
