President's Day: What's Open, Closed in Cuyahoga Falls

It’s time to enjoy the extended weekend.

Several places are closed around the city for President’s Day, but you might be surprised about what’s still open.

Cuyahoga Falls City Hall will be closed for the holiday, but waste and recycling pickup will run as scheduled, according to Mayor Don Robart’s office.

The U.S. Post Office will be closed, and there will not be any mail delivery.

The Cuyahoga Falls City Schools and the Woodridge Local Schools will all be closed, but the Cuyahoga Falls Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.

The Natatorium will be open from until 11 p.m. tonight, and to treat the community, the health and fitness center has extended its open swim hours from 1 to 5 p.m.

Banks have the option to close or stay open. Be sure to give your branch a ring before you leave the house.

Last but not least, today marks the final day of the season for the outdoor ice rink at Falls River Square, so lace up those skates and have a little fun before it’s too late.
