The Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County and NAMI Portage County are sponsoring the Family-to-Family Education Program in Kent starting Oct. 2. The free 12-week class will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at the MHRB office, 155 E. Main St., Kent. Family-to-Family offers a comprehensive course on the types of mental illnesses, treatments, up-to-date information on medications, how to advocate for your family member or friend and how to improve relationships.
