Body Found at Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation

LAKEWOOD, OH — A dead body was discovered Wednesday morning at the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation just south of the public restrooms near the boat launching area at the Emerald Necklace Marina in Lakewood.

A ranger at the scene deferred all questions to Metroparks communications director, Jacqueline L. Gerling as next of kin had not been notified at the time. He did, however, confirm that a body had been discovered and foul play was not suspected.

Gerling described the cause of death as a "medical emergency" such as a heart attack.
