Missing Lakewood Man Found Dead In Lake Erie

LAKEWOOD, OH — Joseph O'Donnell's body was found in Lake Erie this week. He was 45-years-old.
O'Donnell was a Lakewood man. He went missing on Jan. 25 and was last seen near W. 117th Street and Detroit Avenue. He was in a bus shelter, police said. Investigators spent months searching for O'Donnell and had asked the public for help finding the man.
On Thursday, O'Donnell's body was found in Lake Erie, near the Edgewater Yacht Club, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. The Medical Examiner's Office announced O'Donnell's death on Friday.
