Missing Lakewood Man Found Dead In Lake Erie
A 76-year-old Lakewood man had been missing since April 30. On Thursday morning, the Coast Guard found his body.
CLEVELAND — A missing Lakewood man was found dead on Thursday morning, Cleveland police announced.
Lawford Simpson, 76, has been missing since April 30. The Coast Guard and Cleveland Fire located Simpson's body in Lake Erie on Thursday morning.
Lakewood detectives were sent to the scene where Simpson's body was found. Investigators have found no evidence of foul play, according to police reports.

Simpson had last been seen parking his car at Merwin Avenue in the Cleveland Metroparks.
