Lake Humane Society Rescue Rock Off Returns This Sunday

Animal lovers can support the Lake Humane Society while rocking out to local bands this Sunday at Harry Buffalo

Lake Humane Society's Rescue Rock Off is returning for its third year this noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Harry Buffalo, 2119 Mentor Ave., in Painesville.

That means people can rock out and help support the rescue animals at the local shelter all in one afternoon.

This fundraiser is even more important than usual because the Lake Humane Society is still packed with recovering animals that were seized in a recent hoarding case.

The event features five bands who are donating their time to raise money for the animals of Lake Humane Society.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and include an all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet. Guests can also enjoy a Chinese Auction, 50/50 Raffle, prize giveaways and more.

Last year this event brought in more than 200 people and raised thousands of dollars towards the care of the injured, abused and abandoned animals at Lake Humane Society.

The performing bands are:

  • Dan McCoy & the Standing 8’s
  • Kevin Conaway
  • Tony Shultz
  • Hatrick
  • Old Boy

Tickets can be purchased at Lake Humane Society or at the Harry Buffalo on the day of the concert. All proceeds benefit the animals at Lake Humane Society.

For more information, call (440) 951-6122 or visit the Lake Humane Society web site .
