Meteorologists Issue Another Lake Effect Snow Warning

In a move that has become increasingly familiar this past month, the National Weather Service has issued a lake effect snow warning for Lake County.

Meteorologists are predicting the area will get two to four inches of snow Monday and another two inches overnight.

Snow showers are expected to start slow this morning, become widespread and then taper by this evening.

The warning is set to expire 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The snow will be accompanied by winds between 10 and 15 mph with the occasional gust reaching 25 mph.

During the worst of the snow showers Monday, driver visibility will be less than a quarter of a mile.

Also the temperature is expected to hang between 14 and 22 degrees.
