Watch Thief Sentenced to 3 Months In Jail

The man pleaded no contest to a petty theft charge Monday morning in .

Robert Kreischer, 26, was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in Lake County Jail. However, if he violates his probation, he could face another another 90 days behind bars.

Judge John Trebets also fined him $250.

A security guard spotted Kreischer and Noel Cocchi, 23, taking watches from Monday afternoon, according to the Mentor Police Facebook page.

When the guard tried to stop them, they ran away.

However, police officers were called to the area and they found Kreischer and Cocchi in the Arby's drive-thru across the street.

Cocchi was also charged with receiving stolen property. Her next court hearing is scheduled for March 19.

Kreischer's current address is in Lakewood but he used to live in Lake County.

He has five convictions of theft in Lake County alone. He was most recently convicted in 2011 in Mentor Municipal Court. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and another 150 days for violating his probation.

He was also convicted in 2007 in Mentor Municipal Court, 2006 and 2009 in Willoughby Municipal Court and 2010 in Painesville Municipal Court.
