Get in the Spirit with Holiday Show

Strongsville Community Theatre presents 1940s Radio Christmas Carol

Get in the Spirit with Holiday Show

Strongsville Community Theatre will present a holiday production of 1940s Radio Christmas Carol for two weekends starting Nov. 30

This musical is pure nostalgia and pure fun laced with swing music and wacky comedy. It's a "live radio" production of A Christmas Carol, but circumstances end up changing Dickens' classic into an absurd film noir mystery.

The show runs Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 at the Little Theater at Strongsville High School.

In the production are Strongsville residents Ted Larsen, Cheryl McConnell, Holly Prather and Bob Shaffer; Paul Runevitch, Berea; Nick North, Medina; Stuart Landes, Brunswick Hills; Megan Hendrickson, North Royalton and Terry Selby, Lakewood, who is also the music director.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday shows start at 2 p.m. Use Door D at the high school.

Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens and $14 for adults. Call 440-954-4634 to reserve your tickets. For more information, visit  strongsvillecommunitytheatre.com.
