Motion Marine manufactures and customizes boats for a variety of clients including the Lake Oswego Fire Department and Tualatin Fire and Rescue - both of whom sent firefighters to the scene.

The first responders tried to rescue what they could - including some chickens, vehicles, and a boat worth approximately $300,000 - before being forced from the building because of the intensity of the fire.

There were no injuries.

Because of the intensity of the fire, it will be several hours before an estimate can be made on the total value of the damage and the cause.
