Erin Andrews Stalker Now Lives in Dad's Basement, Doesn't Have $27M
Father dismayed by sudden media attention.

"It sure as hell been inconvenient," says 84-year-iold Francis Barrett of the sudden media attention he's receiving since his son moved into his basement in Portland.
"It's been a pain in the neck."

Barrett's son, Michael David Barrett, has been ordered to pay the popular sportscaster Erin Andrews nearly $27 million for videotaping her through the peephole of a Nashville hotel room.
The elder Barrett says its unlikely she'll see that money.

"He's living in my basement," he told Patch. "Do you think he has any money?"
Andrews rose to fame at ESPN, where she worked from 2004 through 2012, doing sideline reporting and studio shows.
In 2008, during a trip to Nashville for a Vanderbilt University football game, Michael Barrett filmed her undressing through the peephole of her Marriott hotel room. The video was posted online and spread quickly across the internet.
Andrews sued Michael Barrett and West End Hotel Partners, which owns and operates the Nashville Marriott. After an emotional trial last week in Nashville, Andrews, who now works for Fox Sports, was awarded $55 million Monday, split between Michael Barrett and West End Hotel Partners.
Francis Barrett says that the jury's decision has caused chaos in their Southeast Portland neighborhood.
"You got people running up and down the street trying to talk to all the neighbors," he says. "It's crazy."
Barrett says his son knows he did something wrong and just wants to try to get his life together.
As for his own life, the elder Barrett says: "I just want some quiet."
