Portland Landmark Makes National Register
Arleta Branch Library is one of several Carnegie libraries in the area - including one in Oregon City.

The Arleta Branch Library, built in 1918 with a grant from the Carnegie Corporation, has been recognized with a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building was one of 31 Carnegie Libraries built during the early part of the last century.
Seven of them are in the Portland area.
