Montco Lawyer Arrested For Throwing Coffee, Punching Woman At Starbucks: Cops

A Montgomery County lawyer has been arrested after an incident in which police say she threw coffee and punched a woman at a Center City Starbucks.

Yvonne Montgomery, 47, of Wyncote, was in the Starbucks on 1600 Arch Street at 9:15 a.m. on April 25, police said.

For reasons that have not been made clear, Montgomery became involved in an altercation with another female, according to police.

During the fight, Montgomery, who is employed with the Tucker Law Group, threw a coffee strirrer at the woman.

When they went outside, Montgomery threw a cup of coffee in the other woman's face, and then punched her multiple times in the face and body, according to authorities.

Montgomery then grabbed the woman by her hair and dragged her to the ground, continually beating her until a bystander broke up the fight, police said.

Montgomery turned herself in on May 24.

She has been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and disorderly conduct-fighting, police said.
