Deli Meat Truck Catches Fire On I-76 In Lower Merion

A tractor trailer reportedly hauling deli meats caught fire on Interstate 76 east in the Lower Merion area Monday morning.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A tractor trailer reportedly carrying deli meats caught fire and halted traffic on Interstate 76 east in the Lower Merion area Monday morning, according to PennDOT and reports.

The incident occurred at about 3:50 a.m. between Exit 331B and Exit 338, PennDOT said.

Action news reports the truck driver was not hurt in the incident and was able to get the truck's cab detached from the trailer, which caught fire.
