ARDMORE, PA — A underground fire broke out Sunday morning in Ardmore, according to fire officials. The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was called to the Lancaster Avenue-Church Road intersection at about 7:15 a.m. Sunday. Crews found an underground fire in the street. PECO arrived on scene and resolved the issue in an hour, the fire company said.

The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was called to the Lancaster Avenue-Church Road intersection at about 7:15 a.m. Sunday. Crews found an underground fire in the street.

PECO arrived on scene and resolved the issue in an hour, the fire company said.
