This building was the meeting place of the Baldwin Hunting Club.
Notice the straw hats in the foreground.
The building was known as the George E. Piel Hotel from 1910 to 1922, and during prohibition, it was a speakeasy.
A Republican dinner party was held here in 1920.
In 1922, it became the home of the Michael Gardill family.
