Fatal Arson Fire Reported At Bensalem Motel

A woman is dead following a suspected arson fire at a Bensalem motel early Sunday, according to numerous reports.

The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. at two rooms in the Lincoln Motel on Route 1, according to 6ABC.

A woman, who has not been identified, died in the blaze, NBC10 said. Other victims were reportedly taken to Aria Health Torresdale, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.

Police told NBC10 that the fire appears to have been started by a man in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

Eyewitnesses told 6ABC they heard a man screaming for help inside the motel room, saying he was stuck inside the bed.
