Hit-And-Run Under Investigation By Bensalem Police

A man in his 20s was hit by a car while walking on Brown Avenue early Monday morning, Bensalem Police say.

Bensalem Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian that was reported early Monday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the 1600 block of Brown Ave to investigate a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian around 12:15 a.m. that day.

“Upon police arrival, a white male in his twenties, wearing khaki pants and a green plaid shirt, was found lying in the roadway in front of 1632 Brown Ave,” Bensalem Police said.

The man’s injuries were consistent with being struck by a car, according to police.

Police believe the man was walking east on Brown Ave when he was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. The vehicle involved in this crash should have moderate damage to the front hood, fenders and possibly the windshield area, police said.
