Participants will visit various assessment and information stations to receive feedback tailored to their own running needs. Topics for the morning will include:

  • Choosing and maintaining running shoes
  • Flexibility assessment
  • Beating the heat
  • Foods and fluids as fuel
  • Strength assessment
  • Chronic injury assessment and prevention
  • Designing a training program to meet your needs

A session for runners who average more than 30 miles per week will be held from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. A session for beginning runners and walkers will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Great Race will take place on Sunday, Sept. 25. Click here to learn how to register.
