Collier Township commissioners recently approved construction of 10 new lots off Boyds Run Road adjacent to the original Walker’s Ridge Plan.
Approval of the plan was awarded to Paragon Homes with several conditions and modifications, which they are already working on with PennDOT and expect to resolve within a month or so.
“We are excited that there are finally lots like this available in Collier,” said Steve Fink, the marketing director for Paragon. “After the sellout of the first cul-de-sac, there hasn't really been an opportunity for homebuyers to build unique homes that offer enhanced energy efficiency, brick exteriors and true custom home options on lots with large back yards.”
The new lots and cul-de-sac will be built within the landscape of trees and a meadow area and construction is expected to begin soon. Lot sizes range from one-third to slightly more than half-acre.
Founded in 1988, Paragon Homes is a custom builder that offers the buyer the opportunity to use one of their designs, provide their own plans, work with an architect, or have a custom home plan developed.
“Anything is possible,” said Fink. “It’s the best of both worlds where you can modify the plan to meet your needs.”
The first phase of Walker’s Ridge started in 2003 and most homes in the plan range from $300,000 to $600,000 depending on the size, plan, and upgrades chosen by the customer. Homes in Walker’s Ridge have won the 2010 Single Family Home of the Year in the $251,000 to $325,000 price range and the 2003 Custom Home of the Year from the Builder’s Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.
With a limited amount of lots, they may sell quickly. For details contact Paragon at 412-787-8807 or visit their website at www.visitparagonhomes.com.
