The Family Stone Rolling into Jergel’s Rhythm Grille

Tickets are on sale now for the event featuring three of the legendary funk band’s founding members.

Members of the legendary funk band Sly & The Family Stone are getting ready to rock the Cranberry area.

Three of group’s founding members, Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson, and Greg Errico—who are Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees and R&B Pioneer Award winners—will take the stage Thursday, April 11 at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille in Warrendale.

Some of the classic hits they plan to perform include Dance to the Music, Everyday People, Sing A Simple Songs, I Want To Take You Higher and many others.

Founded in San Francisco by singer-songwriter Sly Stone in the 1960s, the band was the first major American rock band to have an "integrated, multi-gender" lineup.

Joining The Family Stone is special guest Fathertime, the original Jergel’s house band.

Fathertime has been playing together since the 1980s and was a weekend favorite at the former Jergel's venue in Ross Township. The band covers a wide range of songs from Joe Cocker to Bruce Springsteen to Santana.

General admission tickets to the show are $29 in advance and $35 on the day of show. Tickets are on sale now at www.jergels.com or at Jergel’s box office weekdays starting at 4 p.m. and weekends starting at noon.
