2,000 Turn Out For Women's March on Doylestown [Photos, Video]
Around 2,000 turned out to Saturday's Women's March on Doylestown, officials say.
The Women's March on Doylestown, a local event held in connection with hundreds of sister marches throughout the country and the world, drew thousands of participants Saturday. Organizer Marlene Pray told Patch local police estimated about 2,000 people were in attendance.
The largest of the marches across the nation was held in Washington D.C., the day after Donald Trump's inauguration as 45th President of the United States. Large demonstrations were also held in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and beyond to spread a unifying message of equal rights.
