Dale Wakefield, the man charged with murdering an elderly man in the borough last year, waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday on additional charges that he attacked an inmate with a ballpoint pen at Bucks County prison.
According to WFMZ, Wakefield waived his hearing for additional charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault by prisoner in conjunction with the Feb. 24 attack.
Wakefield, 21, is already facing first-degree murder charges in connection with the July 3 stabbing that killed 71-year-old George Mohr.
Wakefield was reportedly out celebrating his 21st birthday before allegedly attacking Mohr, 71. Wakefield fled to Baltimore after the attack.
Mohr was found by a passing motorist, who called Borough Police to report that a struck pedestrian was lying in the street. When police arrived, they found the injured man and discovered the stab wounds.
He died three days later from injuries sustained in the knife attack.
