The show, which this year is called “The City of Brotherly Groove,” will pay tribute to the role that Philadelphia has played in the history of music, according to concert organizers.

The show is produced and organized by four Central Bucks music teachers and will feature performances by about 20 volunteer professional musicians as well as 200 local students.

“The concerts are a celebration of our musical community and draw capacity audiences to the 900-seat Holicong auditorium,” an announcement from organizers said.

Vh-1 Save the Music Foundation helps to support struggling school music programs by providing instruments, supplies and other resources.
