Jamison Farmhouse Is 2016 Bucks County Designer House

Foxwood Manor in Jamison has been selected as the 2016 Bucks County Designer House & Gardens.

The farmhouse and surrounding property will open for tours May 1 as part of an event that benefits Doylestown Hospital and the mission of the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown

Located at 1596 Turkey Trot Road, Foxwood Manor is an 1830 farmhouse "nestled amidst nine lush green acres and shaded with outstanding trees."

A team of more than 30 designers, landscapers and artists will bring out the beauty at Foxwood Manor, according to Bucks County Designer House & Gardens event organizers:

The skills and talents of this team will bring to life the beauty of this stone-and-stucco home graced with six unique fireplaces and stone walls. Polished Venetian plaster will lighten the feel in the entry and murals will set the mood and purpose in other rooms. Dramatic changes in the kitchen and all bathrooms will be evident. Outside, stone walkways lead to beautiful gardens framed by stone walls to the courtyard salt water pool and tennis court.

Tours will go through May 29. A preview gala event is scheduled for April 29.
