LISTEN: Doylestown Duo Writes Song To Support Local Boy With Brain Tumor
The duo will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from their new song Super Dominic to the Liples family of Doylestown.

Local children’s music composers and performers Mr. Steve & Miss Katie announced this week they have written a song in honor of a local boy battling a brain tumor.
The duo will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from their new song Super Dominic to the Liples family of Doylestown.
Last month, Dominic Liples, 7, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor this month and has begun both radiation and chemotherapy.
Steve and Katie Piperno, who are neighbors of the Liples. said they were inspired to write a song for Dominic "because he is such a wonderful kid with amazing courage,” said Steve Piperno.
“When I spoke with my musician friends about our idea to raise money by writing a special song for Dominic, they all immediately offered to play on the song for free," he said.
By writing the song, Mr. Steve & Miss Katie say they hope to generate exposure for Dominic’s fight.
The song is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby for 99 cents.
“Kenny and Kira were one of the first couples we met when we moved to Doylestown five years ago,” said Katie Piperno. “They instantly welcomed us into their lives which was a comfort for us in a time of change. Our kids play together and attend the same school. Steve and I hope that our song shows Dominic how much we love him and that the funds generated from its downloads make a difference to his family.”
