Perkasie Man A Finalist In Kelly Ripa Co-Hosting Contest

A Bucks County resident is one of 10 finalists to co-host later this month alongside Kelly Ripa on "Live With Kelly."

Richard Curtis, a Perkasie resident, has made it to the top 10 in the "Live With Kelly and You" co-hosting competition. You can see his video audition and vote for him online here.

The top five finalists in the competition will be announced Friday. The winner will co-host with Ripa on Oct. 21.

Curtis is a teacher at Souderton Area High School. He tells the Bucks County Herald he's a "huge" fan of Ripa. “I’m excited. My family is excited. My students are jazzed up. You can’t beat it," he told the newspaper.
