Two Kayakers Die In Delaware River: Report

Doris Rake, 45, and Katheryn Haney, 19, of Raritan, N.J. died after their kayaks capsized north of Bull's Island State Park.

A mother and daughter from New Jersey died after their kayaks capsized in the Delaware River Friday night, NJ.com reported.

Doris Rake, 45, and Katheryn Haney, 19, of Raritan Township were located in the water after their kayaks capsized north of Bull’s Island State Park just after 8:30 p.m., according to NJ.com.

The woman were reportedly transported to Hunterdon County Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
