Easton Man Gets 15 Years in Prison For Meth Ring

An Easton man was sentenced Thursday to spend 15 years in prison for leading a drug ring that brought methamphetamine from California to the Lehigh Valley.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Kwame Fluellen, 28, pleaded guilty in January to to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. He was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia to 180 months in prison, as well as five years of supervised release.

Fluellen, working with brother and co-defendent Che Fluellen, brought the drugs from Southern California and sold it in Easton and Allentown. Che, 29, was sentenced in May to serve 14 years in prison.

According to the Express-Times, the Fluellen brothers were arrested along with three other men following a sting operation in Hellertown in 2008.
