Lt. Edgardo A. Colon, station commander of the Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville Station said while the bank robber is not believed to be a threat, people should “use common sense and proceed with caution.”

“He is not an overt threat,” Colon said. “He has not made any threats. But, you could argue that anyone who uses a gun to rob a bank is dangerous.”

Colon said that after a search of the targeted area was completed, the police would move on to “other investigative methods.”

The search area included a cornfield along Lower Macungie and Riverbend Roads that Faust said is about mile from the bank, as well as the  apartment complex behind the and across from .

Faust said that anyone with information about the robbery should call Emmaus police at 610-967-3113.
