Police Investigating Theft of Scooter from Main Street Yard
On Nov. 3 at about 2:40pm police say a scooter was stolen from the yard of a home in the 200 block of Main Street. Police say the scooter is a silver Razor scooter with blue handlebars. Both Fox and Blueprint brand stickers are affixed to the base of the scooter, they added. Anyone with information about the scooter is asked to contact the Hellertown police at 610-838-7040.
Woman Possessed a Small Amount of Heroin, Police Say
On Nov. 11 at 9:34am police stopped Stephanie Lauren Roth, 19, of the 3000 block of Westminster Road, Bethlehem, for an alleged vehicle code violation. During the stop, which police said was made at West High and Main streets, a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in Roth's vehicle. Roth has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Police Respond to Late Night Fight at Beer Mussels
On Nov. 11 at 11:28pm police say they responded to a fight at , 1214 Main Street. After the fight was ended, police say Jacqueline Jean Peiffer, 21, of the 13000 block of Dorothy Drive, Philadelphia, was cited for criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Another woman, identified as Caitlyn Rose Keal, 21, of the 3000 block of Melina Court, Bensalem, was cited for public drunkenness, police said.
Police Seeking Owner of Bicycle
On Nov. 12 police say a pink and purple children's bike was found in the area of Saucon and Front streets. Anyone with information about who might own it is asked to contact Hellertown police at 610-838-7040 or 610-759-2200.
Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident on Front Street
On Nov. 12 police say they were dispatched to the 700 block of Front Street in response to a hit-and-run car accident. According to police, the car that caused the accident was black 1999-2002 Honda Accord that was last seen heading south on Front Street and then east on Water Street. "The vehicle should have heavy damage to the passenger side mirror and be missing that mirror's cover," police said in a Nov. 14 press release.
