Lansdale Man Charged With Vomiting Loudly

A 25-year-old man was charged May 3 with creating an unreasonable noise after vomiting in public following a heroin binge, police say.

Vomiting in public is not only gross—it’s criminal.

At least in the case of a 25-year-old Lansdale man, who was charged May 3 with creating an unreasonable noise after vomiting in public following a heroin binge, a ccording to The Reporter.

Brandon Woodruff is also facing drug possession charges in connection with the incident, which occurred on York and S. Cannon avenues in Lansdale. A resident called police that morning to report a man was throwing up next to a car, where another man was passed out,  The Reporter said. 

When police arrived to the scene around 8:30 a.m., they found Woodruff reclining in the passenger seat of a Mazda, post-vomit. There was a “large puddle" of throw up next to the car, the story in The Reporter said.

But Woodruff wasn’t the victim of a stomach bug.

Police say he was high on drugs. He was found with heroin in his possession and two syringes were in the car, police told The Reporter.

In addition to charges for possessing heroin and public intoxication, Woodruff was charged with unreasonable noise for vomiting, the Reporter said.

His friend Jeffrey Bernal, 24, of North Wales, who was laying the driver’s seat with his eyes closed, was charged with three misdemeanors in connection with the incident.
