STOP Smart Meter Rally

Rally to Stop Smart Meters October 21, Noon, Godshall's Hatfield Office Two weeks before Election Day

RALLY to Stop Smart Meters-NOTE two corrections.

Tuesday, October 21 at NOON-two weeks before the Election.
Godshall’s Office: 1702 Cowpath Rd., Hatfield, PA

State Rep. Godshall (PA-53), has served 16 terms, since 1983.

Many States and Nations have rejected smart meters as costly, ineffective, unfair and controlling of our homes.
Bob Godshall, as chair of the House Consumer Affairs Committee, has stopped HB 899 from being considered.
This bill will remove the Smart Meter Mandate in our law (PA Act 129-2008)
As I learned from my electric co., they Must install them-It’s the LAW-they’ve no choice!
Rep. Mike Reese, the prime sponsor of the bill, and my Rep. have spoken with Godshall and he is adamant in stopping HB 899.
Godshall, with whom I’ve spoken twice, will not move on this issue.
Godshall has received significant political contributions from PECO and their parent.
CORRECTION: Godshall was NOT instrumental in helping PECO get $200 million in Stimulus Funds for Smart Meters
CORRECTION: Godshall’s son, Grey, employed by PECO, was promoted. , ON HIS OWN MERIT

1) Rep. Godshall had NO influence on PECO”S obtaining the stimulus grant. The funds are from the Federal Government, not our Commonwealth.

2)Grey Godshall’s promotion was neither the result of PECO receiving federal stimulus monies, not any inducement from Representative Godshall- nor has he anything to do with EMI or smart meters, PECO ensures..

Again, my apologies. Mea culpa. Mea Maxima Culpa

If Godshall fails to get re-elected, he will not be able to block that bill.

The Rally’s purpose is to free us from Smart Meters.

SHOULD GODSHALL LOSE, PENNSYLVANIANS, ALL, WILL WIN.

Including Bob - He was among those Reps voting to increase their own pensions by 50%, in 2001. On ‘retiring’, his pension is based on $78,314 a year –perhaps more.

Then, at least, the Consumer Affairs Committee will be able to consider that Bill.
HB 899’s passage will help those burdened by that expensive, controlling device - which adds to our costs, and permits remote shut-off and remote control of home’s appliances.

Many plan to attend; some from his district and some from 5 hours away.
