Bristol Man Facing Six Charges After Walmart Bathroom Assault, Theft: Police

James Reinhart was remanded to the Bucks County Jail on $25,000 bail, court records show.

A Bristol Township man is behind bars after a Nov. 13 incident at the Bristol Borough Walmart, according to court records.

James Reinhart, 31, of Bristol, has been charged with felony robbery; theft by unlawful taking; simple assault; receiving stolen property; disorderly conduct, engage in fighting; and recklessly endangering another person, court records show.

Reinhart was remanded to the Bucks County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail after being arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Charles W. Baum on Nov. 14, court documents show. Reinhart has been scheduled to appear before Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr. on Jan. 11 for his preliminary hearing.

According to an affidavit for probable cause filed by Bristol Borough Police, Reinhart followed a man into a restroom of the Walmart at 100 Commerce Circle where Reinhart attacked the man and took money from his wallet.

Police said the victim identified Reinhart to police, saying Reinhart was his neighbor at one point, which led police to locate Reinhart at a Bristol home where he was arrested.
