Residents and business owners in Bristol Borough awoke to a flooded Mill Street Parking Lot Friday morning.

The unexpected flooding partially-submerged several vehicles and pushed debris from the Delaware River throughout the parking lot.

Residents tell Patch the Harbor Lights Apartments of Radcliffe Street suffered some flooding. The apartment complex is often a victim when the river swells.

The flooding was not expected after Thursday's rain, Emergency Management Coordinator Merle Winslow told PhillyBurbs.com.
