Three Bucks County Towns Ranked by T+L for July 4 Festivities

July 4 is about patriotism, American pride and celebrating our roots as a country. What better way to spend it then in small town American, a place that exudes pride and has a celebration to prove it?

Thankfully you won’t have to travel far to find it.

Travel + Leisure recently ranked the 20 best American towns for July 4. Three Bucks County towns made the cut.

Newtown was ranked fourth, New Hope sixth and Doylestown was listed at 18th. In nearby New Jersey, Lambertville made the list, coming in 13th.

“The high-ranking towns for July 4th tended to score well in founding-father-friendly categories like charming main streets, parades, and feeling patriotic,” T+L wrote in the June 2014 edition.
