Truck Fire Closes PA Turnpike In Bucks County

The Pennsylvania Turnpike East between Bensalem/Philadelphia (exit 351) and Delaware Valley (exit 358) is closed.

A portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County is closed due to a tractor trailer fire that happened early Friday.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike East between Bensalem/Philadelphia (exit 351) and Delaware Valley (exit 358) is closed.

The fire was reported around 5 a.m. and has been extinguished, however the roadway is still closed, according to traffic reports.

6ABC reports there were no serious injuries as a result of the fire. The truck that caught fire was carrying printer's ink, the station said, and some ink did spill on the highway, causing hazardous materials crews to come to the scene.

Drivers should avoid the area.
