Breaking: A car caught fire on Route 422 near the Limerick exit on Wednesday afternoon.

LIMERICK, PA — A car caught on fire on Wednesday afternoon on Route 422, according to multiple eyewitness reports from the scene.
The white car was consumed by flames on the shoulder just before the Limerick-Royersford exit at around 2 p.m., eyewitnesses said.
The blaze was promptly extinguished by the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company, the Pottstown Mercury reports.
