Firefighters Battle Blaze At East Vincent Farm
Breaking: Crews battled a serious barn fire in East Vincent on Wednesday morning.

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA -- Authorities battled a destructive blaze at Ridge Star Farm in East Vincent Township on Wednesday morning.
The incident was first reported at around 7:30 a.m. at the farm located on 259 Ridge Road.
The Times Herald reports that the fire ripped through a barn, destroying the structure.

Ridge Road was shut down. Fire departments had to fill tankers remotely and then pump them into the fire because there was no hydrant on the scene, according to fire officials
Around 50 cows were reportedly rescued from inside the barn.

The blaze was brought under control shortly before 10 a.m.
It's not yet clear what started the blaze, which is currently under investigation by fire marshals.
No injuries have been reported.
Ridge Fire Company, Linfield Fire Co., Limerick Fire Company, Liberty Fire Company, Royersford Fire Company, Friendship Ambulance of Royersford, Valley Forge Fire Company, and Perkiomen Fire Company were among the units at the blaze.
