Public Urination Leads to Two Arrests in Macungie

It may seem hard to believe that the call of nature could go so wrong.

But, for two teens in Macungie recently, it did.

Macungie police were called to the Turkey Hill at 141 W. Main St. at 7:40 p.m. Jan. 29 for a report of a suspicious vehicle behind the store. Turns out there was nothing suspicious about the vehicle, but the unnamed male occupant from Macungie was seen urinating nearby, police said.  He was charged with disorderly conduct.

While there, police said they found another occupant, a 17-year-old Zionsville girl, had marijuana.  She was charged with possession of the illegal drug.

In other recent Macungie police incidents:

Criminal mischief: Reported Feb. 10 by workers of Lehigh Cultured Marble, 111 Lehigh St.; eggs thrown and paint sprayed on the side of a truck parked at the loading dock, police said; no damage estimate provided.

Charged: Lawerence Majette of Lincoln Drive with public drunkenness at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 12; observed stumbling in the street and shouting at Main Street and West End Trail, police said.
