On Monday, Dec. 3, Lower Southampton Police received a report of a suspicious person looking into an open window in the Lower Southampton Elementary School boy's bathroom at about 12:45 p.m.
Although the four male students gave police conflicting descriptions, the subject is described as a white male, possibly wearing glasses, a green or black shirt, brown or blonde hair and jeans.
He was last seen running up a hill toward Herman Street.
Lower Southampton Police Lieutenant Ted Krimmel there is a SEPTA bus stop right near this location that employees from various local businesses use.
The police department regularly receives suspicious persons/vehicle reports in the areas of schools "because people, rightly so, are hyper vigilant about schools and strangers," Krimmel said.
"Unfortunately, Lower Southampton Elementary School has the SEPTA bus stop and is on a main road with a lot of foot and vehicular traffic. We regularly patrol this area, especially with it being next door to the station," he stated.
