PJ Whelihan's To Open New Restaurant in Malvern
PJ Whelihan's is expanding in Chester County.

MALVERN, PA -- Another signature food chain is coming to Malvern.
P.J. Whelihan's will open their 20th restaurant in Charlestown Village in Malvern in the late spring of 2017, the group announced in a news release on Wednesday. The new restaurant will be the group's 15th in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
“Entering a brand new development and customizing our space has been a really exciting challenge for us,” said Bob Platzer, President and CEO, P.J.W. Restaurant Group. “We’re honored to be a part of the growth of this vibrant community and look forward to giving back to the residents through our charitable programs and through good old-fashioned fun – whether you find it at happy hour, watching a game, playing trivia or dining out with your family.”

Charlestown Village includes other restaurants and is anchored by the Residence Inn by Marriott Philadelphia Great Valley/Malvern, which opened in May 2016.
The Village consists of approximately 21,000 square feet of retail space, including 8,000 square feet of P.J. Whelihan’s space with an additional 1,000 square feet of outdoor space.

PJ's said that the Village is a key destination for employees at the Atwater Corporate Center and teh Great Valley Corporate Center, in addition to residents of 1,000 new apartments and townhomes being constructed within a mile of the new restaurant.
The press release added that the opening will create about 100 full and part time jobs.
