For Immediate Release

The American Legion Post 805 will host their annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30th, 2016 at 10:00 AM (Rain or Shine). The event will take place starting at Malin Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall, PA. The parade will head East, in the Eastbound Lane, on West Chester Pike proceeding to the American Legion Post 805 for a Memorial Day Ceremony.

The parade will feature Veterans from the American Legion Post 805, VFW 7390, and the Marine Corps League Detachment 741.

The Marple Newtown High School Band, Paxon Hollow Middle School Band, Boy Scouts, From the Top Dance Studio, Public Officials, Fire Companies, and Ambulance Corps from Broomall and Newtown Square will also participate to honor our Veterans.

Bring your flag, chair, and show your support!!!

Everyone is encouraged to watch the parade pass and attend the Memorial Day Ceremony immediately following the parade at Post 805.

Prior to the parade there will be a Ceremony at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Monument, 4599 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, at approximately 8:30am.

A third ceremony, hosted by VFW Post 7390, will take place 12:00 noon at Veterans Memorial Park on Lawrence Road in Broomall.

Please be prompt as the ceremonies are very short, ~15 minutes.
