Body Found In Springton Reservoir Sunday, Identity Pending

Marple Township Police said a body was found in the reservoir Sunday, but said the identity of person has not been confirmed.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A body was found floating in Springton Reservoir Sunday evening, Marple Township Police said.

The discovery was made at about 6 p.m. Sunday, police said.

According to authorities, the body could be that of Stephen Sentyz, 42, who was last seen at about 3 p.m. Monday, July 8 on Route 252 in the area of the reservoir.

However, police said the identity is to be determined.

The Manoa Fire Company helped pull the body from the reservoir with a boat, police said.

The Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the incident alongside Marple Police.
