Truck Catches Fire In Marple Tuesday

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters battled a vehicle fire Tuesday afternoon in Marple.

According to the Broomall Fire Company, crews were called to the Route 1/Interstate 476 interchange at about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Crews found a truck on fire at the scene.

Traffic was detoured while the fire was extinguished and the scene cleared.

There were no injuries reported.
