Road Work for the Week of July 23

Crews will tackle a variety of road projects throughout the Nazareth area, including the installation of a cross-pipe on Christian Springs Road.

Road Work for the Week of July 23

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 25, crews will be cutting brush along Penn Allen Road between Daniels and Mauch Chunk roads in . There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25 to 27, crews will be doing shoulder and widening work on Daniels Road / Nazareth Drive between Moorestown Drive and Nazareth Pike in , Upper Nazareth and Moore townships.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25 to 27, crews will be cutting brush along Kesslersville Road between Adams Street and Bangor Road in . There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25 to 26, crews will be doing milling work on Route 191 between High Street and Belfast Road in Stockertown and Plainfield Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 26, crews will be doing milling work on East Lawn Road (Route 191) between E. Center Street and Longview Drive in Nazareth and Upper Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 27, crews will be doing milling work on Route 248 between Hollo Road and Chestnut Street in Lower Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • Commuters are being urged to avoid Christian Springs Road -- in the area of the Nazareth Speedway -- early this week during the installation of a cross-pipe.

    Weather permitting, the three-day project is expected to start on Monday, July 23, and should be completed by Wednesday, July 25.
