Firefighters Knock Down Trash Truck Fire In Upper Makefield

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Firefighters were dispatched to the Shires Crossing development on Monday morning for a reported trash truck on fire.

Rescue 71, Tanker 71 and Engine 81 responded to the scene at 7:30 a.m. and were in-service
for about 20 to 30 minutes knocking down the truck fire.

The firefighters were assisted at the scene by the Upper Makefield Police Department and the Upper Makefield Fire Marshal's office.
