La Stalla — the popular family-style Italian restaurant in Newtown — is planning to expand its culinary offerings in town with the opening of a new Italian market on Sycamore Street.
The market will be located at 186 N. Sycamore Street in a standalone building in the Promenade, township officials confirm.

La Stalla representatives tell Patch they hope to open by mid-June.
"The market will be carrying a full line of Italian specialities and delicacies...meats, cheeses, imports, and homemade products made on premises," the restaurant representative told Patch in an email.
